The Portrait Society | Giovanni Bizzelli
Giovanni Bizzelli was an Italian painter of the late Mannerist period. After having studied under the Florentine painter Alessandro Allori, he moved to work in Rome. Later, he returned to Florence and assisted Antonio Tempesta in painting the vaults of the Uffizi Gallery.
